Artificial light surrounds us, pollutes our environment, and can often shape our view of the world.
This project demonstrates how artificial light can be used as a physical filter in which we interact with our world. With lensless photography and videography techniques, I was able to convert artificial light found within the home (overhead oven-light, floor lamp, daylight through the window) into a clear-colored filter to test light pollution's effects on our ability to see, hear, and feel (HEADPHONES FOR BEST USE).
This project was printed on Pictorico | Transparency Film for Inkjet. The material was placed on my window, then photographed, and after wrapped around an LED light for visual effect. I still have prints if anyone would like one :)
